Is my ear piercing infected? What should I do?

It sounds infected, but DO NOT TAKE IT OUT. Infected piercings are not supposed to be taken out, due to the risk of the infection spreading to other areas of the body. Clean it with salt water, and keep the earring in. It should be ok after about 2 weeks or so if you clean it correctly about 3 times a day
