Piercing and blood...?

I have my ears pierced with gold which my ears aren't rejecting. It's been 6 weeks and no blood, puss or infection of any kind. These piercings are healing perfectly fine until now. for the past 2 days when I clean my right ear it gets a tiny bit bloody around the top of it. I do pull the top of the earring in the back down when I clean it which is where the blood is. Is this causing the blood? And is it normal for healed piercings to bleed occasionally?
