How do I sort out my hair!?
I have thick, wavy mid-length (dyed) blonde hair that used to be nice and long until I got it layered and cut my fringe like all the girls at school. When my hair is wet my fringe turns into small ringlets. The crown of my head to about halfway down my hair goes really straight and too shiny. And then the ends of my hair go quite dry, bouncy and fluffy. I hate my hair so since september last year I've been straightening it which has given me lots of split ends and makes my hair look really heavy, not silky like other people that don't have thick hair. How do I make my hair nice again, since straight hair looks weird can anybody come up with any solutions that could make all of my hair look almost the same instead of curly, then straight, then dry and puffy. Does anybody have any idea how to sort my hair out and maybe suggest a way of making it wavy and some hairstyles I could try because all I can do with my hair is let it down, I'm too scared to try other styles because my hair always mucks up. Thanks, I know this is quite long but I'm really frustrated with my stupid hair.

Given diamond earrings that were once meant for someone else...?
My boyfriend gave me diamond earrings on Valentines Day that he originally purchased for his previous girlfriend, but never gave to her because the relationship ended. He said he was waiting for the right time to give them to her and that he didn't feel like he was quite ready. What do you think of receiving such a gift that was originally intended for someone else? When he gave them to me, he also told me he loved me - for the first time. We've been dating for about half a year. I am truly thankful for the gift, but I can't help having mixed feelings since this gift was once intended for someone else. They swore an oath to protect the Constitution. How can they continue to pass legislation that is a direct assault on our civil liberties and give more unchecked power, effectively increasing the size and scope of government and spending. Even 44 of the new so called "Tea Party" candidates voted to extend three provisions of the Patriot Act last night in a direct assault on the 4th amendment. These are liberties our founding fathers fought for and so many brave Americans have lost there lives protecting. What's sad is they rammed it through Obama style, not allowing any debate or amendments. Do the republicans really believe we should trade our liberties for so called "security"? Well getting big holes in your ear is bad anyways but it could be because of the stretching of your ear (which again shouldn't be done) but really I don't think anything is wrong besides the fact your messing up your ear the stretching should be fine.

Maybe get you hair layered and feathered, thin full fringe or thick side fringe. For workouts, i usually go on the wii fit, or go to the gym because you know, guys to admire and impress ;) Essential items? Not sure what you mean but normally phone, ipod, make-up stylish clothes. If you don't want your make-up to be too drastic maybe your should try the natural collection products, as they don't seem to be so noticeable. Hope this helps .x
Iron horse bit: price?
I was downtown taking pictures today and decided to step into an antique shop. I am starting to collect antique horse bits and the shop owner showed me one that he believes is made of cast iron (looked and felt like it) and he thought it could be old enough to have been used in the USA cavalry. He said he would sell it to me for $20. I'm going back tomorrow to buy it (didn't have any money on me and he said he would hold it for me). Just was curious how much it could possibly be worth. Claire's earrings turned my ears blue?!?
Okay, so I got my ears pierced like 3 years ago and I've worn studs or small hoops since. I got these two packs of earrings and I've been wearing them and switching them every few weeks. The first time I switched them, there was some green/blue to my ear, but I didn't think much of it. This went on for a while until recently. I was taking out my cartilage piercing (I got it a little over a year ago and it shattered my whole cartilage, so I don't change it as much) and there was blue stain about half way down my ear. So I took my other earrings out and there was this dark blue almost black, flakey stuff on my ear and blue stain. So, I left my earrings out for a couple of days and one of my friends noticed I had bleeding on my right ear. Is my ear infected? Should I put other earrings in so it doesn't close up? And where can I get quality earrings that DON'T turn my ears blue?! (These first two packs were the first ones from Claire's that turned my ears blue)

Well your going to have to do it with a needle. And make sure you clean it regularly so it won't get infected. When you get it pierced, don't touch it and when you clean it, make sure you wash your hands. You can use H2Ocean(they'll have it at the piercing place) or you can use warm water with sea salt. Getting motorcycle license in Texas?
Okay so I'm a 20 year old male living in Texas. i want to get a motorcycle license simply because driving 20 miles to and from college daily with a 14mpg f150 is burnin a hole in my wallet. I was wondering how much the motorcycle rider safety course would cost or if it's even worth the trouble? From what I have read you don't need to take the safety course to get the license, but I have never ridden a motorcycle in my life. I routinely ride four wheelers, three wheelers and dirt bikes with friends and if the driving style is similar to atv's then I am confident I can catch on pretty quick and save the money for the safety course? Go easy with that stuff you may just find many treasures, WW ll stuff can be worth something, the object you described is a Viewer, it's probably 19th century or so,. When you handle stuff Do not polish or repair anything, Look for any Signatures, Hallmarks, or any identifying marks on objects. Sort them out and put into a category, like the WW stuff, China, Silver, Paintings, Especially papers and photographs, if they match any item that makes them more of value. example: if you have an Aviators flight jacket, medals, and military papers to along with it, it makes a package with verification etc. Make sure you look up items here on the NET and if you feel it's worth something, contact someone who knows antiques and appraisals. Can i take my earings out after 4 weeks?
It been around 4 week since i had my ears pearced and i really want to try on these new earrings. However when i was 7 i had my ears pearced and i had to take them out 4 months later because they got infected. Im 13 now, that won't affect anything will it? okay , so i have a total of 11 ear piercings so i have ALOT of studs , it takes me sooo long to go through all of them to find their match ... so what are some good ways to keep them organized and store them ?

Ok here's the deal,I have my ears pierced but the holes in the front are tiny and the holes in the back are basically closed.I got them done when I was a baby but took them out when I got a little older and I never put them back in.I want to put earrings in but I don't think I can do it,people said I could but I would have to break skin but people told me it doesn't hurt.And then I heard I can get them re-pierced with either a gun or a needle.I want to do it but Im terrified of needles,pain and anything that has to do with those categories,when the holes were a little open,I asked people to put my earrings in for me but I would never let them do it.So what Im wondering is should I get them done with a needle or a gun,and whatever you pick please tell me,does it hurt,what should I do to relax and tell me the process of it,how they pierce them and how they do it,thank you:)

Why not have it that they've observed the owner leaving the key on an antique credenza next to the door and it's a simple job of them using a kids fishing net on a stick pushed through the letter box and with the help of another one they slide it in to the net and just open the door with the key so that there's isn't even any obvious sign of a break in.You would have to deal with the possibility of there being an alarm that would have to be disabled.

How could i be allergic to silver but not cheap metals or metals with other impurities?
for the last 10 years I have been wearing cheap jewelry from dollar stores, walmart and street sellers etc basically I've never had a problem with any type of metal earrings but my husband just bought me real silver earrings and I seem to be allergic. my ears swell and the backs get crusty and hurt. Theyre stamped as real silver but even still I dont think its a problem with impurities since I have not had any trouble before. I wear silver necklaces/bracelets all the time against my skin and ive never had a problem. Im also positive that ive had silver earrings stamped 925 before but ive never had this type of reaction. what is it and is there anything i can do?

It sounds infected, but DO NOT TAKE IT OUT. Infected piercings are not supposed to be taken out, due to the risk of the infection spreading to other areas of the body. Clean it with salt water, and keep the earring in. It should be ok after about 2 weeks or so if you clean it correctly about 3 times a day

Piercing and blood...?
I have my ears pierced with gold which my ears aren't rejecting. It's been 6 weeks and no blood, puss or infection of any kind. These piercings are healing perfectly fine until now. for the past 2 days when I clean my right ear it gets a tiny bit bloody around the top of it. I do pull the top of the earring in the back down when I clean it which is where the blood is. Is this causing the blood? And is it normal for healed piercings to bleed occasionally?
If i stretch my ear (not much, only a few mm) will it close up?

Why do my ears bleed from wearing earrings?
I got my ears pierced when I was 6 & stopped wearing earrings when I was 10. When I turned 19m I started wearing earrings every now & then. How to style hair like this?
if you have a large barrel curling iron you can do this easy. take a large section of hair, comb through and spray it lightly. Take the curling iron and wind hair around it outwards like your trying to flip it out. spritz it with hair spray and slowly pull the curling iron down and out of your hair. You should end up with a large spiral curl. Repeat process all around your head, let curls cool and lightly run fingers through the curls to seperate the stands. Spray hair all over and your done.

Is this normal? I got a piercing and...?
I got a second piercing for both ears on December 18. Im supposed to have them in for 8 weeks, So I will be taking them out in 4 days. Today I decided to change up my earrings on the newly pierced hole. so I took out the posts (kinda hard to do) and I put in the heart earrings (which are not heavy). I noticed that the actual pierced hole is very small compared to the first pierced hole i had (I had the first one since i was a baby) when i tried to take the earings out, on of the ears it hurt very badly, and it felt like the skin was still very tight, i dicovered this crust - like material around the pierced hole, and there was alittle blood. Does this mean I have an ear infection? Why is the piercing site still sore when It had a month to heal?!?!?

Cartilage piercing still hurts sometimes, since summer?
Got my cartilage pierced in June or July. It has healed and is not red, does not pus or anything. However, in one certain area it still hurts when i push it into that side. Like i have a hoop earring in it and when i push from the outside it hurts, but if i pull it or move it up and down it doesnt hurt. I kindof say, imagine the piercing is a square hole, and one of the 4 sides hurts. I stopped soaking it and cleaning it a few months ago. I still have the saline spray, should i just continue using it?
Are Poppy seeds safe during pregnancy?
Last night, I went out to eat and ate two Chicago style hot dogs and the buns that they were in, were poppy seed buns. I ate the buns as well not really thinking about the fact that they were poppy seeds. When I got home, my mom told me that poppy seeds are unsafe to eat when you're pregnant. I have been married to my second husband last 5 months back . things were going fine initially but since last couple of months he is loosing interest in sex . initially we had lovemaking 4 to 5 times a week but now its 2 to 3 times a week. Do authentic Ushankas (Russian hats with ear flaps) have tags?
I went to this antique mall where everyday people have their own corners and sell "authentic" antique stuff. Some of it is of course debatable. I found this Ushanka that is dark brown and has the badge with the gold leaves(?) and the red star with the hammer and sickle in the middle. It feels like real fur but may not be, but it is thick and feels like it is good quality. The inside is black and quilted. It is $60.00. After doing some research, I found that finding an actually Ushanka that's been worn by a real soldier in the past is pretty hard to find, but there are original hats that were military surplus. Many of these have "OTK" stamps in them, which indicate that they passed the general guidelines of quality for military stuff. However, I can't remember seeing a stamp like that in the hat at the antique mall. It had a tag that was off-white with faded blue characters in Russian. I was wondering, has anyone seen a tag like this in an authentic Ushanka used for military?

Why is my ear piercing still sore and tender?!?
I got them pierced new years eve, they are just normal earrings on my earlobes and they still hurt when want to switch my earrings out, when I put in some new ones it hurt cause the metal was rubbing inside my ear and it was hard to get thru because they are so tender and sore still, why is this? My sisters and moms ears were pretty much completely healed after week5. It's been about maybe 6 for me and they are really tender still...WHY.?

I had my ears pierced when I was 5, and I never had a problem with it. I got it done at a doctors office. I then got it double pierced at claire's, the earring was too short for my ear lobe and it was tight and really painful. I had to take it out and then realized how infected it really was. After about another year I tried again and the same thing happened. I know how bad claire's is at piercing ears but I did it anyways because I really wanted it pierced. Well I need to know where i can get it done without my ears getting infected and WITH A NEEDLE. My ears are extremely sensitive and I am allergic to anything but gold. And it has to be gold, nothing else. Where can I get it done? I live in Bolingbrook, IL. It's kind of close to Chicago. I don't know of any tattoo parlors really but my uncle can bring me in to get it done....

white, black, red, dark brown, or purple. Those are pretty much your only options- that bedspread has a LOT of color and pattern so I would stick with a big, solid rug that isn't so busy. Pick one of the colors in the comforter that there is the least of, and if that color would match your purple walls then use it. I would almost definitely stick with white or black though.

Whats your opinion on this bill that got proposed?
Well, I own a Ruger Mini-14 with 7 30rd magazines. The reason I have this is not to go on a rampage on Capital Hill, but to make damn sure I outgun the ************ in my house that's trying to kill me and my family. I'd rather me have the Mini-14 with 7 30rd magazines and him have the 5 shot revolver than vice versa. Plus if they knew anything about guns, they'd know there's no such thing as an "assault weapon." You can assault anybody with any kind of weapon. Just because it's semi-auto and high capacity doesn't change the fact that it's just a ordinary rifle out there for self-defense, recreation, and collecting. Removing tape from a surface that it has been attached to for many years?
I just got an antique ping pong table. There are two pieces of tape that run across it's width. It's masking tape. The tape has been there for likely 25 years, so it is hard, crunchy, and pretty much "fused" to the table. I can't quite describe it, but I think you know what I mean. I can't get it too wet, because the chipboard will swell up. Any ideas for getting this tape off?

Making my hair "heavier"?

I want to get an industrial piercing for my birthday, February 19, 2011. I play soccer and I will have a tournament about a week after that and possibly 3 more tournaments during the spring. Unusual ring found in antique shop...?
I found this bizarre ring in an antique shop the other day and was curious if anyone might know if there is a traceable origin. The ring is sterling silver, with no inscriptions, and on top is a molded scene of a man and woman making love, with the man taking the woman from behind. I purchased the ring but there was another piece that looked as though it may have been made by the same artist. This one was of a naked woman, spread leg and riding the crescent face of the man in the moon. I know this all might sound like a joke, but it's really not. I'm just curious who would make something like this and for what purpose (as in who would really wear it?). Any information would be great.
What is my antique enterprise fawcett Queen cook stove worth?
My husband and I bought a Enterprise Fawcett Company cook stove from a man who had the stove stored in his barn. The stove is in great shape. It is a Queen stove. On the front of the stove the date 1909 is on it. The stove actually says "Enterprise Furnance Company" on it but i saw online the name is now "Enterprise Fawcett". I really don't know what more information to post about it. There are different numbers on each of the doors that I am assuming are part numbers. If anyone knows which number would be the model number to provide more information that would be great.

Why is my earring making my ear sore?
I'm wearing a surgical steel earring in one ear, and it's a little sore if I press it or pull on it, but it's not swollen or red. the other ear has a plastic earring in it, and it feels the same but not as sore. they both have larger posts too, 16g , so it's not that much larger than the average. I've had my ears pierced for 15 years. I usually only wear gold or silver earrings, because I don't know if I'm alergic to certain metals, but I decided to experiment(that's why I'm wearing two different earrings, lol) thanks in advance.
