I cant get my earring in!!!?

I pierced my ears by myself about 3 days ago, and they got infected. I took the earrings off to clean it, now my right ear's went in fine, but the one on my left wont go in.... i only had it off for a few minutes. The strange thing is that i CAN get an earring in, only through the BACK. what can i do to put it in through the front?
